FLUX at AES N.Y. 2007

Flux will feature at the AES 2007 New-York to demonstrate for the first time on the American continent all its plug-ins range including the very last Pure Limiter.

Now Logic directly recognizes Flux demo plug-ins. The very last version is available here.

Every owner of previous Flux Packs will receive for free a full licence for Pure Limiter when updating to version 1.2.

The Audio Unit plug-in format is now supported by all Flux plug-ins.

We hope that Logic Express and Logic Pro users will appreciate this new development.

Pure Limiter is available.

Pure Limiter completes the Pure Series developped by Flux to manage the audio dynamic. It uses an exclusive algorithm allowing a dramatic level enhancement with no drawback on the sound quality.

Trial Version

We hope to have found the best compromise between limitations that must feature in a free trial version, and the security system that protect customer’s investment.

This package contains free trial version for all the Flux:: audio plug-ins, in AU, VST and RTAS format for Mac and PCs.

Trial Limitations:

  • 2 channels maximum processing (mono or stereo).
  • 1 FS (32, 44.1, 48 KHz).
  • No properties (parameters) published to the Host software. So your settings will not be saved in the host software project (composition).
  • No Automations (so No Control surface supported).
  • No presets Save/Recall, Import/Export (only factory preset can be loaded).
  • This version is not time bombed but after one hour of audio processing or UI utilization all the user interface controls will be disabled. The sound will still be processed, allowing you to continue working normally on your project but you will not be able to modify the settings until you restart the plug-in.

This is the native version of the plug-ins for AU, RTAS and VST.

The DSP based Pyramix version is available from the Merging Technologies sale network.

BitterSweet "real size"

This dynamic processor manages audio transients.

Bitter Sweet is especially active on loud percussive tracks.
Turning the central button on the sweet side, decreases the transients amplitude. On the bitter side, the transients amplitude is magnified. Bitter-Sweet also features a control for the signal to be processed. When the main position is engaged, the process affects the stereo signal. If Center is engaged, only the M signal of the internal MS matrix is processed. If stereo is selected, only the S signal from the MS matrix is processed.  As all Flux:: plug-ins it features 64 bit floating point processing, up to 8 channels and up to 8 FS (384 KHz). Center and Stereo Mode are only available in stereo (2 channels) processing.

We hope you will enjoy this new toy and make your Mix Sweeter or Bitterer.

Bitter Sweet is only available in native version for AU, RTAS and VST.
